Former ISPS HANDA Senior Open winners Darren Clarke and Bernhard Langer, and four-time Major winner Ernie Els are the latest stars to be confirmed for this year’s Championship, which returns to Gleneagles from July 23-26 where Pádraig Harrington is the defending champion. 

Pádraig Harrington came agonisingly close to adding another senior title but was narrowly defeated in a playoff by Steven Alker at the Cologuard Classic in Tucson, Arizona.
