Adare Manor hosted a celebratory Ryder Cup Year to Go gala dinner on Monday night, with captains Luke Donald and Jim Furyk joining host Patrick Kielty on stage.
The pair took part in a Q&A session looking ahead to next year’s contest, which will mark the 100-year anniversary of the Ryder Cup.
The Gala Dinner took place in the Ballroom at Adare Manor, with more than 250 guests in attendance from the Government of Ireland, Limerick City and County Council, Adare Manor, Ryder Cup Europe, PGA of America and the Ryder Cup Commercial family.
Kielty, who is the host of RTE One’s Late, Late Show, also hosted a Q&A session with three of Ireland’s leading stars – singer Niall Horan, former British and Irish Lions rugby union Captain Paul O’Connell and jockey Rachael Blackmore, the first female winner of the Grand National.
