Graeme McDowell was one of the first players to sign up for LIV Golf, but the Portrush star is the latest name to confirm that he will no longer be part of LIV 2.0.
The 2010 US Open champion took to X to confirm the news. "I've decided not to pursue LIV 2.0," he said. "I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had over the last four years and want to thank everyone who has been part of that journey.
"I look forward to the next chapter in my career."
McDowell is one of a list of players to have shuffled their way to the exit doors after the rebel tour filed for bankruptcy after the Saudi backed PIF announced they were no longer supporting the tour after spending almost £4 billion.
Fellow Northern Ireland player Tom McKibbin confirmed he no longer seen his future with LIV and paid his fines along with players like Tyrell Hatton that allow his him to compete on the DP World Tour.
In recent days other Major winner Louis Oosthuizen confirmed his departure while other names such as Jon Rahm, Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood have also left.
It remains to be seen where McDowell will hope to play next season, though he is hopeful of getting some starts on the DP World Tour where he has won 11 times. The 47-year-old has also won four times on the PGA Tour and played in fur Ryder Cups and holed the winning putt at Celtic Manor in Wales in 2010.
McDowell never won on LIV with his best finished tied second in 2025.
