JONES & CONROY WIN ULSTER SCRATCH FOURSOMES AT MALONE

Belvoir Park’s Scott Jones and Jack Conroy combined well to claim Ulster Men’s Scratch Foursomes with a gross two-over par total over 36 holes at Malone Golf Club.
The Golf Ireland Ulster Branch event took place at the pristine parkland of Malone under glorious sun-baked conditions where a total 47 pairs competed in superb conditions.
Jones and Conroy finished top of the leaderboard with their 142 total (70, 72), two ahead of Jack McIIhatton (Masserene GC) and Matthew Giles (Greenore GC) (74, 70). In third place was Sam Allister & Simon Ward, both from Belvoir, on 146 (78, 68). They claimed third with a better final 18.
The best score from Round Two was awarded to Aaron Marshall & James Mulholland (Lisburn GC), with a one under 69.
