Q-Series FINAL SCORING

Ireland’s Lauren Walsh is the latest player to earn playing rights on the lucrative LPGA Tour after the Castlewarden professional came through the Q-Series Final in Alabama.

The 25-year-old has made the transition to the paid ranks exceptionally well and here latest and her latest efforts means she will join compatriot Leona Maguire on the US circuit next season saying, “it is a dream come true”.

Walsh scraped into the Q-Series Final in the 10th and final spot on the money list after the final event of the LET campaign in Spain. From there she kept her composure in the gruelling qualifying school campaign and kept her best for last with a final round 67.

That gave her a four-round aggregate (reduced from six rounds due to bad weather) of six-under-par 280. The closing 67 was crucial as she jumped from tied 34th into the top 25 players who gain full playing rights next season.

With rounds of 74, 70, 69, 67 Walsh finished tied 17th. The former Wake Forest graduate and Curtis Cup player can now plan a schedule on the LPGA Tour for 2026 with the chance to also tee it up in LET events.

In two years as a professional Walsh has amassed just under €400,000 in prize money and this season was one of consistency with 11 top 10s from 24 starts.
